Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a National Health Service (NHS) provider located in Nottinghamshire, England. It provides acute and community services to over 618,000 people across the county. The Trust consists of three hospitals: King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Newark Hospital and Mansfield Community Hospital.

The Trust was established in 2002, following a successful bid by four local primary care trusts to become an NHS foundation trust. It serves a population of more than 618,000 people from towns and villages such as Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood. The Trust employs around 4500 staff who provide care to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services include accident & emergency care; maternity services; cancer treatment; elective surgery; mental health services; elderly care; diabetes management; dermatology and fertility treatments.

In addition to hospital services the trust runs various health promotion initiatives aimed at improving the physical and mental wellbeing of local people. These include: smoking cessation programmes; alcohol awareness classes; healthy eating initiatives and health screenings such as cervical screening programmes for women aged 25–64 years old.

The Trust also provides education and training opportunities for staff including apprenticeships, foundation degrees and postgraduate courses in nursing, midwifery and medical specialities. The trust is committed to developing its staff which includes an emphasis on leadership development for senior managers.
