York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS trust based in York, England. It provides acute and specialist services to a population of over 500,000 people across North Yorkshire and beyond.

The Trust was formed in 2006 following the merger of York Hospital and The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. It operates from two main sites – York Hospital, which has one of the largest emergency departments in the country, and Scarborough Hospital. The trust also runs community hospitals at Bridlington and Malton as well as three walk-in centres across North Yorkshire.

The Trust employs over 8,000 staff including doctors, nurses, midwives, allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists; support staff such as porters; scientists; managers; maintenance engineers; caterers; cleaners etc., all working together to provide high quality healthcare for patients throughout the region. In addition to its hospital services it also provides numerous outpatient clinics (including cancer care), mental health services and primary care facilities including GP practices at both main hospitals.
