About Street soccer batley
In spring 2012, Street Soccer Outdoor Football Centre was launched in Batley, West Yorkshire. Our pitches have been carefully manufactured, using the very finest materials, by one of the world’s finest synthetic producers. Our Producers have already manufactured pitches for Europe’s top football clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus and Celtic.
Street Soccer has a large enclosed facility with viewing areas, onsite toilets and a warm office. The all-weather pitches can be used for a number of sports i.e. football, rugby, cricket & rounders. The state of art pitches have a netting above the total play area to avoid break up in play.
Street Soccer aims to thrive on creating the best possible future for children in a deprived community. You clearly know the role that football can play in any community, how it can influence, engage, motivate, inspire and make a positive change to the community and become a means to support social change. Through Street Soccer we will be working with children and private sector organisations to bridge the cultural divide of children in these deprived communities. Street Soccer engages a particular focus on projects linked to schools within the Kirklees area.
Our ethos and vision is to encourage understanding between people and communities and to share the fascinating diversity within nations and across this area of Kirklees. We would like to take action to make Batley a better place, striving on the task of bringing communities together. The football coaching plan is a rich resource for football coaching, mutual respect, combating social injustice and giving people a way out from the current societies struggles, venting their passions on doing well for the community rather than the rioting scenes recently demonstrated within the summer of 2011.
Young people can achieve their goals in life and to beat the norm that has been placed upon them, allowing the young to pursue and lead a positive lifestyle which would be incorporated within the centre. Focusing on team building, working together and building bridges among the community, we feel that football alone can do this with the correct commitment and team.
