About Royal Botanic Garden

The Gateway Restaurant offers delicious seasonal menus. All our food prepared fresh on the premises by our kitchen team, lead by our award winning chef Ben Harrison. The Gateway Restaurant offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere set within the Gardens, with spectacular views across the Botanics, through all seasons. This December dance the night away in the John Hope Gateway during one of two Christmas Party nights, Friday 4th & Saturday 12th. Start your night off with a glass of wine on arrvial, followed by a 3 course festive dinner, then its time to get down and boogie with one of Edinburgh top event DJ's.
