Celebrating the life and legacy of Everton’s greatest footballer, The Dixie Dean Hotel pays tribute to a treasured icon. Our luxury hotel celebrates the amazing story of the ‘Boy from Birkenhead’. We have a range of rooms sleeping from 2 guests right up to 28 guests! We have our stunning Cave Suites on the lower ground floor and from the first floor upwards our Luxury Suites in different colour themes such as the iconic blue, ferocious burgundy, classic cream and golds. We also have a stunning on-site Bar & Restaurant called The No.9. The name, No.9 derives from the shirt number of the legendary William Ralph 'Dixie' Dean, whom the hotel is named after. The decor is elegant with dark wood panelling, royal blue furnishings and marble top tables, it has a real warm and welcoming feeling when you walk through the doors. The menu is British, modern and everything is pre-pared fresh by our amazing team of Chefs. You can expect starter and main dishes such as crispy ham hock croquette, harissa spiced tempura cauliflower, haddock and prawn fish cake, 8oz peppered rib eye steak followed by homemade desserts such as No 9-toffee cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding. These are just a few dishes to give you an idea of the dishes served.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Not to mention that they offer a great NHS discount which made my stay even more enjoyable!
