Details: MONDAYS 08.00pm - 09.00pm 8 JUNE - 13 JULY 2020 NHS AND KEY-WORKERS: SELF-CARE AND MEDITATION 6 WEEK COURSE via Zoom This six week course is being offered at low cost (£30) in gratitude and goodwill to NHS staff and key workers who wish to join it. Each Monday evening we will have a short check-in and led relaxation, and a simple led meditation practice, supporting rest and calm. The aim is to hold a space in the week for your body to rest and relax in kind awareness, and to help support honest emotional experience and resilience. There will be an open space for sharing, comments and questions at the end of the session. We want to offer something genuinely useful and nourishing to you, led by a real person in real time. It has to be online for the time being due to the Coronavirus, but it is not a recording - a meditation teacher is there for you live online, to listen, lead the meditation and relaxation, and to answer your questions. The London Meditation Project exists to make the benefits of meditation more widely available to people who live or work in London. Our team have years of experience in meditation practice and teaching. We aim to convey the practice of meditation in a direct, lively and accessible way.
