Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is an NHS foundation trust based in Northampton, England. The trust provides specialist mental health, learning disability and community health services to the people of Northamptonshire. NHFT provides care and support to adults, children and young people with mental health issues, learning disabilities and physical health needs. The trust has over 1,000 staff working across a range of services which include: adult mental health services; specialist learning disability services; child and adolescent mental health services; substance misuse services; forensic services; primary care mental health services; community hospitals; intermediate care and specialist dementia care. NHFT is one of the most successful NHS trusts in the country, receiving high ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). In 2019, NHFT was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating from CQC – the highest possible rating given by CQC. This demonstrates NHFT’s commitment to providing excellent quality healthcare to its patients.
