About Wetheral Cottages
A group of 5 charming well-equipped sandstone cottages, each decorated and furnished with care. Come and unwind and enjoy the countryside around us. The cottages are situated on the edge of an attractive Cumbrian village, near the River Eden and surrounded by rolling farmland. The village of Great Salkeld, with a Pub serving excellent food, the cottages offer tranquillity, yet there is easy access to the lakes and mountains of the Lake District, the Scottish Borders including Hadrian's Wall, also the many interesting villages of the Eden Valley and Northern Pennines. Local activities include: Walking, Cycling, Golf, Swimming, Sailing, Fishing or visiting the many attractions and historic sites of the Eden Valley and Cumbria.
