Originally built in 1877, Brynafon Country House is a traditional mid-wales country property, rich in original character and charm.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Gwastedyn Hill and the Druid's Circle, Brynafon Country House is close to the beautiful Elan Valley
and within easy reach of the River Wye.
The historic market town of Rhayader is less than 0.5 miles away and the Gigrin Farm, Red Kite Feeding and Rehabilitation Centre is adjacent.
Originally a Workhouse, Brynafon has been a school, a factory, a war time hospital and a hotel,
now a family home it still retains many of its original features including rooms with beams/vaulted ceilings, many staircases and 'stone grading' windows.
Brynafon is available for hire for photo shoots, film sets, weddings, conferences and functions.
