About York Dance Works
Our main studio boasts one of the best all-round sprung dance floors that money can buy covering nearly 2000 square feet and 50 foot of mirrored walls. The studios are dedicated to music, singing, dancing and the theatre and are available to hire for rehearsal.
Our teaching staff have many years of teaching experience between them in a fantastic array of dance, music and theatre. With many credits from professional and amateur shows to their name, we have brought together a complete spectrum of teaching skills to suit your every need.
We provide an affordable, fun and safe environment where ages from the very young to the more senior adults can learn and enjoy the freedom to sing and dance in whatever style they prefer. From Ballet, Ballroom, Tap, Jazz and Modern, to Street, Line and Zumba Fitness.
Our classes also extend to fun and friendly exercise classes from the very young (Boogie Minis) throughout the age range with more sedate sociable ballroom evenings.
We are also fortunate enough to have musical and singing tuition available for private one to one lessons. All ages welcome.
And all in the comfort of our own totally dedicated studios, conveniently close to the city centre with free parking available to our customers.
