Newton House B&B TORQUAY, website: WWW.NEWTONHOUSE-TQ.CO.UK, situated in a quiet residential area of Torquay is an attractive, detached, Tudor-style house with large car park, opposite the TORRE railway station, on the main road in TORQUAY (Newton Road). It comprises nine luxury en-suite bedrooms with full central heating, colour TV, tea/coffee-making, ironing fan and shoe-cleaning facilities; Entrance Lobby, Main Reception Lobby, Guest Lounge and separate Dining Room. Newton House is a quiet, comfortable, peaceful, CLEAN, NON-SMOKING establishment.
To the front of Newton House are the Garden, Terrace and large Car Park. Parking is easy (free to resident guests). The car park can accommodate up to 15 cars (more than required). The car park, garden and public areas of Newton House are monitored 24 hours a day by CCTV, which is recorded and displayed inside the building. The Guest Lounge, Dining Room and front bedrooms, all overlook the Car Park and Garden, so it is a safe area. The Garden is popular with many of our guests for its array of flowers, shrubs, fruits and vegetables, and our Torbay Palm Trees.
We serve full English breakfast with a selection of wholesome food to choose from (as big or small as you like!) We do not serve evening meals as there are good restaurants nearby to cater for wide tastes. We can recommend them to you, if required. The shops and town centre, beach and all amenities are nearby. It is only a short walking distance (or 2 minutes by car) to the seafront. Torbay Hospital is also within a short walking distance. Newton House avoids the noise and bustle of the shopping centre but is sufficiently close to be convenient for shopping, dining, drinks, entertainments, etc.
