The Venue - Situated in the heart of the city, Aberdeen’s newest seafood restaurant opened its doors in August 2013. With a change of management 1 year later, new Head Chef Andrew Manson brought his unique style of food and a new front of house team re-worked the setting to present relaxed and unpretentious surroundings.
The Food – Andrew has an impressive CV, having trained at Michelin star level in London with Gordon Ramsay and Jason Atherton, Tom Kitchin in Edinburgh and Sous Chef to Adam Stokes as part of a Michelin star winning team. With emphasis on using high quality, seasonal ingredients, he uses innovative techniques to improve flavour and play with texture.
The Oysters – Loch Fyne oysters are considered some of the best in Britain and recognised at the top-end on the worldwide market. Consistently good across the year, we get them directly from the west coast of Scotland to ensure quality and freshness.
The Drinks – We stock a selection of Scottish gins alongside a thought-out wine list which has something to please everyone by the glass plus match and enhance your food experience by the bottle.
The Service - Good service is at the heart of what we do, our manager Marcin Krutul and his staff will be happy to accommodate all your needs including all special dietary requirements.
Private Dining – We offer you the chance to have the whole restaurant for the evening, accommodating up to 40 people and can provide you with a menu created to meet your needs and requirements. (Minimum 25 diners)
Speciality Evenings – We regularly organise tasting menu evenings, show casing a range of our dishes over 5-7 courses with specially selected drinks to accompany dinner.
