About Mountain Monkeys

Mountain Monkeys aim is to create an outdoor adventure anywhere, for anyone. All of our staff are highly motivated and enthusiastic, as well as very experienced instructors. They live their lives on rock faces or in rapids, when working and also on their days off! Mountain Monkeys was set up by Innes MacDonald who has extensive experience working in various industries and organisation in the fields of the outdoors, education and care. Innes MacDonald graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSc (Honours) degree specialising in Outdoor and Environmental Education. He is a fully qualified Winter and Summer Mountain Leader and also holds the rocking climbing qualification SPA, GNAS, Level Paddle Sports, as well as the recognised adult teaching qualification PETALS certificate.
