I am a Personal Trainer, ex military and a professional Fitness, Martial Arts and self defence instructor. I hold a 6th Dan black belt in Karate and cover Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding areas. So whether it’s personal training, learning to defend yourself, learn or improve your karate, I have the expertise and many years experience that will make all the difference. Especially with the ever increasing knife attacks in our society today.
Neil Mann is the Chief Instructor & Technical Director of the Chase Karate Clubs - A former Army Physical Training Instructor with over 40 years experience – who is considered an expert in armed and un-armed combat and one of the best instructors in the country!!
We have various classes in Bournemouth, Poole and Verwood at different times to enable those on shift work to at least attend on a regular weekly basis.
Karate is a great way to exercise and keep fit, and promotes all round health; Physically and Mentally. This includes Muscular, Cardiovascular and stretch exercise in pursuit of well being. All our sessions commence with half an hour (or more) of aerobical exercise followed by all aspects of Karate and self-defence.
Karate prepares you and your children for life. Giving the edge at home, school, work or socialising. Gives you self-esteem, self-confidence and much needed discipline.
Karate is important for young and old, especially boys and girls to be able to defend themselves against the ever increasing violence and bullying within our society today.
Karate just as importantly stresses mental development, respect for one self as well as others. Children who practice karate become stronger mentally, more responsible, and develop a determination to help them succeed.
Karate is much more than just punching and kicking each other. !!
