About Ruthven House
Ruthven House is set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park beside Ruthven Barracks and the RSPB Insh Marshes Reserve in Highland Scotland, recently voted one of the top twenty places in the world to visit by the National Geographic Traveller Magazine. The town of Kingussie is a leisurely 15 minute walk away and lies 12 miles south of Aviemore. Kingussie train station has direct links to Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the sleeper service to London.
Ruthven House has bed and breakfast accommodation and two self catering cottages and is the ideal base for many outdoor activities, including fishing, hillwalking, cycling, horse riding.
