You also see the famous St Clements church from lounge and kitchen. A cosy croft cottage tastefully modernised and well equipped. Set amidst peaceful mountain scenery, very tranquil yet only 4 miles from the famous white sandy beaches and golf course and 2 miles from Leverburgh where ferries take you to the Uists Islands for the day or trips round the Sound of Harris. Leverborough is only a couple of miles away and has shops, a restaurant and even a hairdresser !! The ferry leaves from here for daytrips to the Uist Islands and you can spot seals in the Sound of Harris on route. The golden eagle has been reintroduced to Scotland and you can see them from the garden. Rodel is where the GOLDEN ROAD begins and it will take you all the way to Tarbert on the East Coast of Harris.
