About Barbican Theatre

We are an independent theatre in Plymouth which has been working to with young, new and emerging artists since 1980. There are performances at Barbican Theatre throughout the year. We maintain a low ticket price for these performances as we want everyone to be able to see high-quality theatre and dance. We run workshops for 8-25 year olds in dance and theatre and support emerging artists to make, develop and grow. We also use theatre to work with communities to tackle social issues.
