About South Dartmoor Clinic
Max Secchi is a registered osteopath. Max qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in 1996 with first class honours winning the prizes for Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Neurology. After graduating he went into private practice in Notting Hill and Harley Street, London and soon started working part time at the BSO as a Clinical Tutor. He escaped the "rat race" of London in 2003 when he moved to Devon to raise his family. Presently Max Secchi works in private practice in the South Dartmoor Clinic with premises in Newton Abbot and Ashburton which he set up in 2007. He has delivered lectures and tutorials at Peninsula Medical School, the British School of Osteopathy, the London Stock Exchange, the Home Office and the University of Westminster. He has also worked "in house" offering treatment and ergonomic advice to large corporations like Harvey Nichols and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Max Secchi treats patients of all ages including babies and children after completing a post graduate course in Cranial Osteopathy. He has a special clinical interest in ME / CFS, rehabilitation exercises and stress reduction. When he's not working or raising four girls he likes to spends his spare time playing tennis, walking, playing the piano and doing yoga.
Max Secchi is registered with most insurance companies including PPP, Norwich Union, HSA etc.
