About Mooro's Events

Mooro’s Restaurant is homage to former owners of the original Woolston Manor House, Sir Bobby Moore, Sir Sean Connery. In the late 1970’s the original Woolston Manor was converted from a private house into a high class private members club. In the 80’s the club was sold and expanded to create a complex of three night clubs becoming Essex’s most famous & popular night spot. Since its closure in 2002 the Woolston Manor House has stood empty, and after a serious fire in 2008 it seemed unlikely we would see the building return to its former glory. Until now of course! … to Mooro’s Functions & Events! Now transformed to the Ultimate Private Hire & Events Venue in Essex! Are you planning on having a celebration party, wedding, barbeque or need corporate catering? Whatever the event you are planning, you need to look no further than Mooro’s Chigwell! Over time we have become highly skilled in event planning and our team is passionate about making your event special. We are experienced party planners and will delight you with our detailed event management skills, both for adults and children parties alike.
