About Us

Adam & Jeannie Trevena welcome you to Chillington House, a friendly Bed & Breakfast Hotel. Situated on the coastal road between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth at the top of the Salcombe estuary in South Devon, in the picturesque village of Chillington. The perfect location for exploring the South hams, an idylic spot for walking, sailing, fishing and many other activties. Our delicious breakfasts include a large buffet including organic yoghurt's, fresh seasonal fruit, house recipe muesli, cereal, freshly baked bread with Jeannie's home-made jams and home-made fruit compote. Cooked breakfasts are freshly prepared to order by chef Adam with locally sourced ingredients served in the conservatory or by the log fire. Our comfortable ensuite rooms are spacious and decorated in a relaxed style. The rooms have King or super king size beds, to avoid any squabbles for the duvet! All the bedrooms are equipped with a 32 inch television, tea and coffee making, allocated on-site parking space and wifi facilites. We have a disabled access room with four other bedrooms on the ground floor and a further four bedrooms upstairs. Cots and high chairs are available on request, we are also happy to provide additional items you may need for feeding and bathing your baby so that you can travel a little lighter. There are many lovely long and short walks right from our front door which is perfect for those making use of our three dog friendly rooms. The House can be booked for a large group up to 20 people for private celebrations, corporate entertaining or just a well-earned break with friends and family. To make the most of your stay we offer cream teas, breakfast in bed and can help plan activities and dining out. The house has storage for surf boards, wetsuits and other outdoor equipment.
