Chesterfield Theatres consists of two historic venues which are based in the heart of Chesterfield. The Pomegranate Theatre is a delightful Victorian proscenium arch theatre which presents a programme of professional touring drama, music, entertainment, and a very popular pantomime. In addition it presents a regular programme of films and is also used by a number of local amateur groups.
The Winding Wheel was built in 1923, originally as a cinema. Now a theatre, offers a diverse programme of events including West End musicals, comedy shows, concerts, dances, illustrated talks and a wide range of community events.
