Just a few minutes’ walk from St. Barts, HIX Oyster & Chop House offers a laid-back room in the heart of historic Smithfield serving the best of British seasonal food, oysters, steaks and chops. HIX menus are built around the long-established, personal relationships that Mark Hix has with his suppliers and use only responsibly produced, carefully sourced and simply served British seasonal ingredients. Take a seat at the marble oyster bar for the all-day bar menu or indulge in oysters from the British Isles during Oyster Happy Hour (Sunday to Friday 4-7pm and Saturday 12-7pm) or pop in for our set lunch menu for only £15.50 for 2 courses. The Chop House is perfectly suited to large parties dining from our seasonal feast menus with semi-private areas within the restaurant.

08/11/2021: I used HIX Oyster & Chop House because it is close to St. Barts and has really good British food. I like that they have a set lunch menu for only £15.50 for two courses, and an all-day bar menu too. It's also great that they have semi-private areas for larger parties.
