Hywel Dda NHS Trust is a National Health Service (NHS) trust in Wales, United Kingdom. It was established in April 2009 and provides healthcare services to more than 500,000 people across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The trust operates from six main sites: Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen; Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth; Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest; Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; West Wales General Hospital in Fishguard and Ysbyty Cwm Cynon near Aberdare.

The trust is named after Hywel Dda (c.880-950), the tenth century Welsh ruler who introduced laws which are still recognised today as the basis of Welsh law. The trust's vision is to provide safe, effective and compassionate care for all its patients by delivering high quality health services that meet their needs and expectations.

The trust employs around 5,000 staff including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as support staff such as porters and cleaners. It also has strong links with universities across Wales providing training opportunities for medical students on placement at the hospitals it runs.

In addition to providing hospital care the trust also offers community based services such as district nursing teams which visit patients at home or day centres where elderly people can receive social activities or therapies like physiotherapy or speech therapy if needed.

Hywel Dda NHS Trust works closely with other organisations such as local authorities to ensure that patients have access to all necessary treatments whether they are provided by the NHS or not so that everyone can get the best possible care when they need it most
