Aneurin Bevan Health Board is a National Health Service (NHS) health board in Wales. It was established on 1 April 2009 following the merger of Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board and Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust. The board serves an estimated population of 647,000 people living in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen.

The board is responsible for providing healthcare services across its five local authority areas. This includes hospital care, community health services and primary care services such as GP practices. It also provides specialist mental health services to people with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and substance misuse problems.

The vision of the Aneurin Bevan Health Board is to provide high quality integrated healthcare that is safe, effective and responsive to patient need while making best use of available resources. In order to achieve this goal they have implemented various initiatives including: improved communication between staff; increased access to information; training programmes for clinicians; increased collaboration between professionals from different disciplines; development of innovative new treatments; promotion of healthy lifestyles through education campaigns; and development of strategies aimed at reducing inequalities in access to healthcare across different communities within their catchment area.

In addition to these measures the board has also developed strong links with other organisations involved in delivering healthcare in their region such as Local Authorities and third sector providers like Age Cymru or Macmillan Cancer Support Wales . They are committed to working together with these partners in order deliver a joined up approach which puts patients first by ensuring all aspects of their treatment are managed effectively throughout their journey from diagnosis through recovery or end-of-life care if appropriate
