Treat yourself to the comfort, relaxation, and excitement of an island holiday by the sea. Our self catering apartment is the ground floor of the 18th century Manse in historic Birsay, ancient capital of Orkney. The flat has been redecorated and modernised to suit present day tastes and needs. We welcome children. Our double and twin bedrooms, kitchen/diner, comfortable sitting room and bathroom, with shower, aims to meet all requirements including guests with mobility needs. Electricity, quality linen, WiFi and welcome breakfast hamper are included in price. Relax or barbeque in our sheltered Manse flower garden or sit with a glass of Orkney beverage on our shoreline seat to view seals, bird life and wonderful sunsets over the sea and tidal island. We are adjacent to Birsay Bay shoreline, local historic sites, cliff and sea walks, as well as well stocked village shop and award winning tea room. Bird reserves, fishing lochs and World Heritage archaeological sites accessible by bicycle (we have two for borrowing) or short car drive. Check our website for more details!
