About Howletts Wild Animal Park

Howletts is home to over 300 animals, including Kent’s only giant anteaters, the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, and more gorillas, leopards and monkeys than any zoo in the county, Howletts offers a fun-packed day out for a great price! Guests can explore Walking With Lemurs to get up close and personal with our inquisitive lemur troop, marvel at the life-size prehistoric creatures at Animals of the Ice Age, or simply enjoy our 90-acre park. The three cheeky calves of our elephant herd are firm favourites with our visitors, who can enjoy their time with us safe in the knowledge that their visit means more. Ticket sales help to fund not only the care of the animals here at Howletts Wild Animal Park but will also support our overseas projects in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation. SPECIAL GUESTS THIS AUGUST Howletts, Kent’s original wildlife park, not only houses some of the world’s most endangered and rare animals but is now also set to play host to some of the most popular animated species this summer holiday.
