I'm trained in remedial and sports massage therapy. This is ideal if you are a weekend warrior, hard worker, athlete , busy parent or anything in between as I tailor the best possible massage session for you. I'm a registered nurse too with over twenty years experience and bring all that knowledge to the table too . I'm always reading about new research on things like pain , stress, fitness and performance. so that I am offering the most up to date support to you. I did an honours degree between 1994-1998 in Physiology at the University of Glasgow . This knowledge helps me to understand the science about pain so I can help you understand pain- this isn't just for those with chronic pain, it benefits everyone who gets aches and pains , especially if that feeling stops you doing what you want to do. But, it's not just about pain is it? A lot of my clients come to see me for a massage because they like how it feels. My style of working suits them and they say that they feel better after a massage . My approach is pretty straightforward, I'm not into chakras ,crystals or any other alternative approaches to health. But I love a good chat and getting to know what works for you. With some good music playing if you want smile emoticon My aim is to help you feel better with massage, support and movement suggestions . I like the idea of getting to a stage of fearless, thoughtless movement ( Louis Gifford quote)
