About Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery
Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery has 5 galleries of Shropshire history: Roman, Medieval, Tudor, Stuart and The Shropshire Gallery. The Special Exhibitions Gallery is hosting a display from The Jorvik Viking Centre 'Valhalla-Life and Death in Viking Britain' which includes two skeletons from archaeological digs in York with notes on their health, teeth etc. This is open from 8th February to 5th June 2016.
Admission to the whole Museum & Art Gallery costs: Adult £4, child £2, senior £3.50, student £3.60, family (2+3) £10.
