At Headingley Karate we teach practical self-defence for ordinary people. We have been teaching in Leeds since 2001. Our style of Karate is not a sport, instead it is designed so that people of average strength and fitness are able to defend themselves. Training is limited to adults only (18 years and over). As well as teaching the physical techniques of self-defence we also teach students how to avoid violence and de-escalate confrontations.
