The century-old Marine Hotel sits on a striking clifftop location on the Tankerton Slopes, a 10-minute stroll from Whitstable Harbour. With 31 en-suite rooms, a wide range of facilities and commanding sea views across the English Channel, the hotel is the perfect venue for weddings, parties and business meetings as well as short breaks by the sea. Guests can gaze out to sea in the comfortable lounge while sampling traditional Kentish beer. Distinctive cask ales are kept in perfect condition as well as a selection of international lagers and a good choice of wines. A selection of good quality pub food is available in the bar and lounge, which has views across the Tankerton Slopes to the sea. The Marine Hotel's restaurant serves a range of traditional English dishes, freshly-prepared on the premises, using the finest seasonal and local produce whenever possible. There is also a wide range of popular dishes, daily specials and vegetarian options including a carvery with a choice of roast meats.
