Set in an American railway wagon serving three course meals to groups of 8-13, Caboose - a BYOB, BBQ Burger restaurant - rolled into Shoreditch serving slow-smoked food in 2013 and has been there ever since.
The custom built wooden dining cabin is held exclusively for one group at lunch and one group at dinner for up to 3 hours at a time. It seats a maximum of 13 people (12 for ease, 13 for squeeze!) and a minimum of 8 people.
The cost is a flat £35 per person for the three courses and it's BYOB (oooo yea!). The team put an ice chest out for you to put your drinks in so you're able to help yourselves. For those drinking alcohol on the night (and why not?) there is a corkage surcharge of £5 per person which entitles you to bring as much alcohol as you like.. spirits, beer, bubbles - you name it. Once everyone's settled they batten down the hatches and the place is yours for the evening while the private chef cooks in front of you.
There is a wireless sound system in the cabin which means all you need is a bluetooth enabled device with Spotify, Apple Music etc. installed and you can control the music while you eat. As far as music policy.. anything goes. Be sure to let them know if it's a party or other special occasion you're having and they'll get the balloons up for you free of charge.
