Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust is an NHS trust located in the East of England. It provides healthcare services to over 330,000 people living in the mid-Essex area. The trust operates two main hospitals – Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and St Peter’s Hospital in Maldon. The trust was formed in 1994 following a merger between the former Mid-Essex Health Authority and the Essex Rivers Healthcare Trust.
