Tramshed, a former East End tram-generator building in the heart of Shoreditch, is just ten minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street, and 5 minutes from Old Street tube. The menu gives centre-stage to Swainson House Farm chicken and Glenarm Estate steak, carved at the table and designed to share. But it's not all about sharing here, there are plenty of individual dishes to choose from using only the best of British seasonal ingredients. Tramshed also serves a 2 course lunch menu Monday to Wednesday for only £9.75. The restaurant boasts the renowned Cock ‘n’ Bull installation by Damien Hirst. HIX Art gallery in the basement is open all day every day and also offers an ‘industrial-chic’ event space with regularly changing curated exhibitions by emerging artists.
